A family went to a market to buy some fish. The seller was too nice and gave them half price. Then the family wanted lower price and the seller gave the family a discount of 7 dollars. The fish was in total 10 dollars. What was the normal price of the fish?
I don't understand when you say the seller was "too nice", but the family wanted a better deal? The story should have more unique characteristics. I liked the idea for the word problem. It should be a little bit more clearer

We understood the word problem, but we don't think it was very creative enough. More specifically, the characters. You could have add more creativity to the character names. Seller and Family are a bit boring.

I wish the story has more charaters rather then seller and Family .I also would like the story to be little bit more clearer.
ReplyDeleteWe really like your problem, it makes perfect sense. One thing we could have ''The fish was in total 10 dollars. '' re-worded that part a little.
