Matthew is in a candy collecting competition that will give all the candy to children in need. His family has six bags in the basement. Matthew collects h candies and he takes 1/3 of the candy from each bag everyday for six days. In total he collects 20 candies. What is the value of h?
The question is quite normal, a little creative, but some of the parts are hard to understand and sometimes it doesn't makes sense. It still is good and is quite simple.
The idea of the question was very interesting and creative however there were some parts which had problems. For example the 1/3 of the candy part was hard to understand. If you change a little bit on the part which we did not understand, it would be a good word problem.
Matthew is in candy collecting competition that will give all the candies to children in need. One full bag has a limit of 6 candies or skittles. He collected "h" full bags and 1/3 of a bag all together from his basement. In total, he collected 20 skittles. How many full bags did he collect?
