    3 stupid squirrels found x amount of acorns each. For every 5 acorns there is a yucky acorn. Out of those x acorns, 12 of then are yucky acorns. How many acorns did the each stupid squirrels find?

    We think that you should not say x. It would have been ''a number'' but overall we enjoyed the stupid squirrel part, :)

  5. I like the part where you used funny adjectives in your word problem. I liked the problem overall, but it was a bit hard to understand when it said "for every 5 acorns". Except for that, I really like this word problem.

    3 crazy stupid squirrels found a number of golden acorns each. For every 5 acorns there is a terrible,disgusting, and yucky golden acorn. Out of those golden acorns, 12 of then are yucky acorns. How many golden acorns did the each stupid squirrels find?

    Saying X makes it more confusing for us to understand. So I think you could have used some other word like "number".
