3 couples went to the movies and paid n amount of money for each person, but they had a $15 coupon. After paying $39 was left. How much did each person pay to see the movie?
Wow...this problem seems hard, but it is amazing how you solved this problem. But as Lucas and Haeley said, you should show in more detail about who had the $15 coupons.
3 couples all went to the movies together and paid n amount of money for each person, but One of the couples had a coupon that meant the total price for all the tickets was reduced by $15. After paying, $39 was left. How much did each person pay to see the movie?
3(2n)-15=39

Show in detail who had the 15$ coupons. One per couple, one per person...? The idea was pretty good especially expressing 6 people as 3 couples.
